Burts Bees Intense Hydration line
I'm really loving the Burt's Bee's Intense Hydration line. I've always had very dry skin and using all the products for a little over a month, my skin feels great!

Bridesmaidy
I think I'm going to start trying to do this blog thing again. I need something to shake up my life a bit... I'm kinda bored. Here goes nothin!
So I was in a wedding this past weekend. It was like... my 8th or 9th? I'm not really sure, I've lost count! The bride wanted to get dresses from David's Bridal but we didn't really have time. and I really didn't have $160. I convinced her that we should just go to the mall and look at dresses, see if we could come up with anything fast and cheap (saucy!). We came across some really pretty one's at H&M and I saw the one below and knew the bride would love it. Thirty minutes and $25 dollars later we had some pretty dresses that looked nice and bridesmaidy. Oh, but don't you worry... the cost was made up in the hair appointments.... $65! Oh.. my stars. I did look quite pretty though, if I do say so myself.

Fitting in Fashion!
Over the past year I've really taken to the personal fashion blogging world. It all started with a visit to Glamour.com where they featured a blogger Jessica Schroeder from WHAT I WORE. It was so interesting to see a fun, fashionable REAL woman blogging her daily outfits and style ideas. I'd always loved clothing and shopping but I was inspired to take a whole new approach to fashion and try to find my own personal style. I'm still looking for it and hope this blog will keep me on track & motivated. I use various fashion blogs and websites to get inspiration. I also love the Flikr group, Wardrobe Remix. Everyone in the "personal fashion blogging community" is so darn positive and wonderful, so I'd love to join it!
Now, moving on to the title of my blog. I live in Delaware and work in the social work field.... so you can imagine that my need to "dress-up" is really limited... so I do it anyway! I have to fit fashion into my life because it's a passion of mine and I don't want to short-change myself just because I'm in a terrible geographic location. I saw a girl at the grocery store recently who was wearing an on-trend, crazy awesome outfit and had the confidence to make it work. I knew at that point that I could wear anything I want as long as I carry myself in a way that says "I make this look good". Another reason for my title, I'm not exactly an "ideal" body shape for fashion, but I like to think I'm pretty darn cute and self-aware. I know what styles work on me and which I should run far away from. So my title also reflects the fact that I need to find fashion that fits into my body-type and personality and budget. I'm so excited to finally begin this blog and wake-up (almost) everyday and put together outfits that make me feel strong, pretty, and confident!
Here goes nothing!!!!
